On May 3, the 10-day 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2026) concluded at the Capital International Exhibition & Convention Center (CIECC) and the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall). As the brand-new core venue, CIECC delivered world-class hardware, smart operations, and premium services — fully demonstrating Beijing's mega-scale venue capacity and professional standards.

Unprecedented Scale & Global Impact

Auto China 2026 debuted at CIECC, leveraging dual-venue synergy to create 380,000 sqm of exhibition space — making it the world's largest auto show. Over 10 days, it drew 1.28 million visitors, including 65,000 international attendees from 21 countries and regions. A total of 1,451 vehicles were displayed, including 181 global/China premieres and 71 concept cars — the most defining hallmarks of this edition.

Seamless Operations & Service Excellence

CIECC deployed a 1,000+ person service team under a "five-in-one" grid management system (venue manager, security, engineering, cleaning, main contractor), ensuring rapid response and cross-venue coordination. The Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) integrated 20+ subsystems, enabling real-time crowd, traffic, and parking management — the first time surrounding transport data was incorporated.

The adjacent Capital International Convention Center hosted 30 automaker launch events and brand forums, while the CIECC Hotel welcomed over 1,000 foreign guests (30.5% of total), achieving "zero-wait" check-in via smart ID recognition. BMW board member Milan Nedeljković praised: "Great service, great rooms!"

Cultural & Culinary Highlights

The venue featured 53 dining outlets, with "Dashun Baozi" selling nearly 33,000 units — a viral hit among international visitors. The "Dashun Baozi + Jiao Lou Coffee" combo became a signature cultural pairing. The "Beijing Gifts" store showcased 200+ items, including intangible heritage crafts; AI robot dogs and "Dudu" plush toys were the most popular with foreign guests.

Looking Ahead

Auto China 2026 was a global showcase of automotive technology and culture. CIECC, as a newly launched national-level platform, presented a brilliant card to the world. The venue will continue refining operations to make the "Beijing Service" brand shine brighter.
