On April 24, Auto China 2026 opened simultaneously at CIECC and the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall). The dual-venue linkage created 380,000 sqm of exhibition space — a record for both global auto shows and Beijing's exhibition history — officially crowning it the world's largest and most influential automotive event.

Dual-Venue Synergy, Full-Chain Display
CIECC, Beijing's largest and most technologically advanced convention venue (opened 2025), provides 210,000 sqm of indoor space. Combined with Shunyi Hall, indoor exhibition area exceeds 300,000 sqm — ranking fifth among China's exhibition clusters. For the first time, automakers, core parts suppliers, smart driving tech, and new energy companies shared one stage, presenting the complete global automotive supply chain.
Over 1,400 vehicles were on display, with 200+ press conferences, 30+ industry summits, and 10+ embassy/chamber networking events scheduled — all aimed at deepening global automotive exchange.

Smart Venue, Seamless Experience
CIECC deployed a smart operations center (IOC) connected to surrounding traffic and parking data, enabling real-time crowd and vehicle density monitoring. The venue arranged 20+ parking zones with 14,000+ spaces, 6 security checkpoints with 22 screening devices for 100,000 daily visitors, and a three-tier queuing system for nearly 5,000 freight vehicles.
A 30,000+ sqm food zone offered everything from viral "Dashun Baozi" to Italian pasta, with smart coffee robots and digital ordering. The garden-style central courtyard with pop-up food trucks created a relaxed, trendy atmosphere. The on-site hotel offers 410 rooms across 9 types, plus 38 meeting rooms including a global vehicle launch hall.

Culture Meets Commerce
The "Beijing Gifts" store brought 200+ cultural products — including intangible heritage items and Year of the Horse-themed designs — to the show floor, with instant tax refund service for international buyers.

Since opening, CIECC has hosted the 38th Auto Service Beijing Exhibition and AMR China International Auto Parts Show, with auto-industry cluster effects growing stronger. BEHL will continue leveraging its platforms to gather global resources and fuel Beijing's development as an international exchange and consumption hub.
