On September 16, the 3rd China-International Food Exhibition in 2026 officially kicked off at Capital International Exhibition and Convention Center (CIECC). Running until September 22, the exhibition offers free admission with no reservation required. Local residents can sample flavors from around the world and pick authentic quality goods without traveling outside Beijing.

Boasting an exhibition area of nearly 5,000 square meters, the exhibition sets up 132 booths and welcomes 108 high-quality participating entities.

The international zone gathers indigenous featured goods from more than ten countries and regions including Pakistan, Iran, Uganda, Russia, New Zealand, Australia, India, Afghanistan, Nepal, Mongolia and Arab states.

The domestic zone brings together premium agricultural and sideline products, time-honored Chinese brand offerings and intangible cultural heritage delicacies from over 20 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities such as Hebei, Shandong, Yunnan, Guangdong and Taiwan, delivering strong homestyle flavors.

Held ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the exhibition stands as a prime pre-holiday shopping destination for Beijing residents. Visitors can secure all items in one single stop, ranging from fresh food and agricultural products and casual treats for daily household consumption, premium gift boxes and specialty goods for visiting relatives and friends, to bulk ordered festival perks and business gifts for corporate clients. On-site convenience services including information and guidance, fair-weight verification, after-sales support and parcel delivery comprehensively protect consumers' rights, allowing visitors to tour comfortably and shop with peace of mind.

Hosted at CIECC, this exhibition represents another joint effort between the venue and its organizer, subsequent to the successful 3rd Beijing (International) New Year’s Goods Exhibition in 2026 early this year, with further improvements in exhibition scale and visitor experience. Held in spacious exhibition hall, the exhibition delivers favorable conditions for exhibitor booth arrangement and exhibit storage. It also effectively prevents overcrowding conditions and creates a more relaxed and satisfying shopping journey for visitors.

Going forward, CIECC will keep its focus on diverse exhibition sectors covering festival driven economy, people’s livelihood consumption and characteristic industries. CIECC will keep optimizing venue hardware facilities, upgrade service systems, enrich event formats, and leverage visitor traffic from exhibition to boost consumption and invigorate urban vitality through the exhibition economy.
